Introducing One Community
One Community is a global utopia project founded on a large-scale sustainability eco-village open source project-launch blueprinting everything people need to build self-sufficient and self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities all over the world. We believe this is the next step for us as one world community, and for the growing number of people awake to the importance of the direction we need to move, it is obvious we are both non-sustainable right now and ready and capable of doing something different. Commitment to a few basic ecological principles that create an environment where people have the choice to live in integrity in every moment is our simple solution and the bridge we are building between abundant fulfillment of our physical needs (food, energy and shelter) AND our psychological/emotional needs (connection, acceptance, personal growth, etc.).

It is the very fact that many people find these principles so difficult to achieve and adhere to that NOW is the time to build a living demonstration and create the future we know is possible tomorrow, by doing these things today. This website describes in detail each piece of how One Community and the One Community non-profit organization are accomplishing this, and how others can get involved.
ORGANIZING UTOPIA PROJECT EARTH
By establishing an on-going global collaborative contribution model, One Community is bringing together the forward thinkers and solution focused people of the world to participate, contribute, adapt and evolve these basic principles and more as a new way to live for the betterment of the entire human organism. While not everybody agrees that sustainability, open source sharing, or living a life that specifically attends to our physical and emotional needs is important, for many of us it is the obvious next and necessary step in the evolving human story. It is also the infrastructure for what we would consider a viable utopia project focused on living in integrity with ourselves, our fellow people, and our planet.
This creation of something that is constantly evolving and continually contributing to the betterment of us all is being the change we want to see in the world as the open source blueprint for a sustainable civilization. Leading the way in the creation of a model that supports collaboration instead of competition, sustainability instead of waste, appreciation and love instead of intolerance and fear, and fulfillment, growth, contribution, and conscious and conscientious living that celebrates the experience of being alive instead of just living.
Most important of all, regardless of people’s personal idea of what a utopian project should or could be, we are creating a model that is realistic to implement, and unarguably beneficial to our entire species and planet, with every aspect of it being created as an open source project with associated tools, tutorials, videos, and other resources to help people duplicate and/or evolve any or all of its components. While One Community may not be how everyone wishes to live, it is none-the-less being created for everyone; as we bring together the forward thinking and progressive technologies, methodologies, and minds of our generation to move us all forward and demonstrate what is truly possible.
