We do our best to practice acceptance and unconditional love for one another as we remind each other that these things are not something we do, but rather something we allow. In the spirit of this, we see an opportunity to help each other live up to a commitment of being a community that puts aside judgment, elitism, damnation, and any other emotion that creates separation in order to consciously create and embrace the Oneness that IS Humanity, regardless of our diverse beliefs and perspectives, and celebrate people being themselves irrespective of their religious leanings, race, gender, sexual preference, politics, and lifestyle. We see this as who we REALLY are: compassionate and empathetic persons dedicated to doing something different because we as a species have already seen the cost of doing things the way they have been done in the past.

PRACTICING RELIGION AT ONE COMMUNITY

As a free society and community that celebrates diversity, people who want to practice an organized religion at One Community do so. Religious and/or spiritual practices can be an individual practice or, if enough people are interested in participating, an organized practice operating under the recreational/social architecture aspect of community contribution as dictated by the guidelines outlined on those pages. We see this as opening up opportunities for learning and enriching our environment through a better representation of the diverse beliefs and cultures of the world.

It is also up to the individual if they do NOT wish to participate in any religious or spiritual practice that an individual or group may choose to organize. Just as the diversity of people’s beliefs are celebrated and respected, so too are people’s rights NOT to participate in any activity or practice. With this in mind, we remind each other that pushing one’s views upon another person is considered equally as undesirable as limiting people’s freedom to worship or express themselves in the way that works best for them.
