Why Create a Better World

The social and financial condition of our planet is pointing to the need for something new and the time to take responsibility for our own future. While people in this country are struggling to keep their homes, their jobs, pay their power bills, and feed their families, millions around the world are homeless, without power, and starving to death at a rate of over 40,000 people a day. We believe a solution exists and that the future we want tomorrow is possible with the actions we can take today.

SOLUTION BASED THINKING

We have the ability right now to create something different, not “a fix” or an adaptation of the current system, but a new system that can create a sustainable livelihood for people not just here, but anywhere in the world. For this to happen, however, is going to require some new approaches, for as Einstein said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

Motivation and reasons to be motivated have never been higher. With only 9% of available time currently invested in family time, recreation, and personal growth, the number of people ready to take the steps necessary to create something different is growing every day. People want more out of life and a plan for an alternative that doesn’t require waiting until retirement.

The good news is, most people are starting to realize that it isn’t just money and jobs that people want, but the life, comfort, and happiness for themselves and their families that they believe these things can provide. With this in mind, we think the next natural step is taking what’s available and creating THAT: a comfortable and sustainable lifestyle For The Highest Good of All that incorporates fulfilled living practices so people are happy. This is what One Community is doing.

Something different and world changing is possible if enough people desire it. We see a working model that combines fulfilled living practices with a sustainable lifestyle and open source sharing engine to spread these ideas, as exactly what could create that necessary widespread appeal and move the entire human organism to the next level. For this reason we are organizing as a team and maintaining an open invitation to the world as we call on other conscious and conscientious people to join us and co-create a better future by creating a better now.
